We are happy to introduce Erwin Baumann, Marketing Manager at our headquarters in Rottweil, Germany. Baumann received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Marketing at Hochschule Furtwangen University and has been successfully assisting the expansion of MRS Electronic in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
MRS Electronic’s history starts in 1971 when Dieter Barth Digitalelektronik was found. In 1977, Dieter Barth Digitalelektronik changed its name MRS Electronic and in 1990 the company was integrated in the Endress + Hauser Conducta as a subsidiary. The success story of MRS Electronic GmbH & Co. KG started 1999 when management saw the beginning of the new century as an opportunity to introduce innovation and technology to the world.
Today, MRS Electronic is represented by one subsidiary in Dayton, Ohio and 6 distributors in Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Switzerland and South Africa.
MRS Electronic began seeing an opportunity of growth in the United States and in 2015, the office in Dayton, Ohio was founded. The expansion’s main goal is to have German engineering minds paired with the American vision, which is a perfect foundation for a global company.
The MRS Electronic family all over the world is responsible for enthusiasm with customer support and the company development. Our headquarters is located in Rottweil, Germany, the oldest City of the state Baden-Württemberg with around 160 employees.
Our staff in the headquarters work in many different departments, such as, purchasing, disposition, production lines and planning, human resources, accounting, administration, project management, IT, software and hardware development, logistics, sales, and marketing.
Although we may work in different departments, we all have the same goals: excellent customer service, efficient logistics, and quality in the production of our products. Our customer oriented mindset is one of the many reasons for the growth of MRS Electronic from a small company to a successful medium-sized company.
Increasing turnover, higher numbers of employees and the rising number of customer specific projects, especially in the automotive market, speaks for the company and its strategy in the markets.
All of the growth from the past few years requires bigger space. That is why we are excited to announce that our headquarters facility will begin construction of a new building as well as expansion of the production facilities. Construction is set to start in the spring of 2018.
We are excited to see where this expansion will take us and the projects that we will be able to work on due to that. As always, our team works hard to always improve our products and create innovative solutions.
